Bring the kids to celebrate Science, Engineering, Technology and Math at Georgia Southern University at STEM Festival 2014
This FREE fun-filled community event will be Sept. 20, 2014
10 AM – 4 PM
Nessmith-Lane Building
*847 Plant Drive on the Georgia Southern Campus
50+ Exploration stations will provide hands-on activities for children young and old. Activities appropriate for elementary, middle and high school will be available.
STEM Fest activities include:
See robotics in action
Learn how video games are created
Make ice-cream with liquid nitrogen
Blast off Alka-Seltzer rockets
Gaze at the stars in Georgia Southern’s Planetarium
Learn about Georgia Archaeology with the ArchaeoBus
Participate with NASA
Go on a mission with the Army
See competition awardees and their presentations
and much more
Free guest parking will be available in lot #32; bus parking available in lot C behind the Nessmith Lane building
Food will be available for purchase.
