Let’s Get Batty With Sarah

Join Ranger Sarah for an informative talk about bats. Learn why we love our bat community here at the park. Take a walk to watch as they emerge from their houses and head out for an evening of hunting insects. Then return to the visitors center for a campfire. Great event for the whole family. Bring a flashlight and a chair for campfire time. $3 plus $5 parking. 912-727-2339.
The Haunting of Savage Island & Reverse Trick or Treating
Saturday, Oct 25, 2014 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Halloween comes to the campground. We invite our campground guests to decorate their campsite and wear costumes. The Rangers will drive through the campground and judge the campsites for creativity. We will be doing reverse trick or treating. You remain at your site and we bring candy to you. Then gather for a bonfire and ghost stories. Donations accepted $5 parking. 912-727-2339.
