You’re invited: Gingerbread workshop to benefit Habitat for Humanity in Savannah
Start a new holiday tradition.
Habitat for Humanity in Savannah’s founders had a simple idea – everyone on the planet should have a safe, decent place to live. Each day Habitat for Humanity works tirelessly to make that happen. But sometimes, they have a little fun doing it.
Join Habitat for Humanity on Dec. 8th or 9th for a gingerbread workshop, where the young or the young at heart get to build home sweet home.
Habitat for Humanity will provide all the supplies and a whole lot of expert guidance from local chef Meggan Hartley. You make a donation and help our neighbors. And did we mention that it’s fun?
where: JCPenney Court at Oglethorpe Mall
when: Sunday, Dec. 8 or Monday, Dec. 9, 11 am – 2 pm
cost: $20 per participant. Reduced rates for groups of 6 or larger.
Preregistering? Contact Michelle Hunter @ hunter@habitatsavannah.org. Or walk-up. They’ll manage to find some space.
