You’re invited: Archaeobus visit, FREE kids’ hands-on archaeology activities, Savannah

Abby the Archaeobus hands-on kids' activities in SavannahThe Archaeobus is coming to Savannah March 18 2013 to get kids excited about exploring our past!

Abby the Archaeobus is a creation of the Society for Georgia Archaeology, a group of professional and amateur archaeologists as well as interested citizens. The Archaeobus is a former bookmobile retrofitted with archaeology hands-on activities. Abby travels throughout the state, visiting school groups, giving presentations & even touring the State Fair!

The Archaeobus will visit the Armstrong Atlantic State University campus March 18 from 10 am-4:30 pm. She will be parked at the end of University Drive, next to University Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

The University Anthropology club will also be volunteering. It will be fun and educational for the kids and adults!
