Belk and Lauren Ralph Lauren Celebrate Women’s Wellness and Breast Cancer Awareness with Lauren Pink Event at Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah, Sat. Sept. 13

This event will feature free mammograms, giveaways and demonstrations ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

WHO: Belk, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Memorial Health University Medical Center

WHAT: Belk and Lauren Ralph Lauren are proud to present a Lauren Pink event at the Belk store in Savannah to increase breast cancer awareness. This celebration of women’s wellness will feature free mammogram screenings, giveaways and health demonstrations. Ten percent of the purchase price from all Lauren Pink products sold at Belk, and online at belk.com, will benefit the Belk Women’s Health Fund. Additionally, a donation will be made to the Memorial Health Foundation.

The BelkGives on the Go Mobile Mammography Center, a 39-foot-long, state-of-the-art screening center on wheels, will offer free, convenient mammogram screenings the day of the Lauren Pink event. Women age 40 and over with no breast concerns, who have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months and have a primary care physician are eligible by calling 855-655-BMMC (2662) to schedule an appointment.

The event also coincides with Fit for the Cure, and $2 from each bra fitting and Wacoal or b’tempted purchase will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Other highlights include skin care, smoothie and yoga demonstrations, a nail bar, music and light refreshments.
