The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force in Pooler is excited to announce 2024 Summer Camp!
All Campers must be registered in order to attend camp. A $25 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is REQUIRED to register your camper(s) for each week.
Camp Times are 9AM to 4PM Monday – Friday
Ages are 6 to 12
Price is $225.00 a week (including the $25 non-refundable deposit)
Includes water, snacks, lunches and all activities.
THEME: The 2024 Summer Camp theme is “Masters in the Sky │ Honoring 1944 and the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.”
There are no weekly themes this year. Camps will be tailored to the interests of the campers attending that week. ALL WEEKS WILL BE DIFFERENT and include camper’s favorite activities from our previous themes of Historic Heroes, May the 8th Air Force Be With You, & FTX Camp.

Campers will learn about the Medal of Honor, the Mighty 8th and World War II while engaging in energetic and engaging activities such as obstacle courses, group exercises, and just being outdoors. Campers will partake in outdoor battle reenactments while learning about the real heroes that fought in them such as Audie Murphy and John Basilone. Your camper will see a piece of history; our WWII B-17 when we tour the museum. Mud, water guns, and more in our high-energy camps!
Youth who are blind or have low vision are invited to Savannah Cultural Arts Center for a 5-day camp specially designed for their needs! With activities in both visual and performing arts, participants will experience art in a new and creative way each day.
Camp takes place June 3-7 2024, 9:30-2:30PM. $25 city residents/$35 non-residents – financial assistance is available for qualifying families.
All materials supplied, campers should bring their lunch and a snack.
Camper may bring a friend or family member of any ability also in rising grades 1-11 (registration and fee apply).

Rising 8th – 11th graders, join Georgia Tech Savannah for a Murder Mystery theater and science camp June 3rd – 7th 2024 on the Georgia Tech Savannah campus!
Theater and science combine to create this week-long murder mystery adventure!
During the week, students will be given roles that they will have to keep secret for their final performance on Friday.
Students will learn throughout the week different acting techniques including improv and deflection.
Students will also learn the science that goes into crime scene investigation including forensics and interrogation techniques.
The popular, well-established, full-day JEA Camp Savannah is a diverse day camp that embraces Jewish values to help build children’s confidence, create long-lasting friendships and develop a strong sense of community…one camper at a time.

Savannah Adventist Christian School in Pooler will offer a faith-based summer day camp for ages 5-10 years old.
Activities will include Bible stories and activities, arts & crafts, games & water activities, math and literacy learning, music and creative movement, science discovery and more.

· Murder Mystery – Theater and Science combine to create this week-long murder mystery adventure for high school students. Students will learn different acting techniques and the science that goes into crime scene investigation including forensics and interrogation techniques. (June 3rd-7th) · Story of You – Students plan for the future while simultaneously building their resumes and learning what life after high school holds. Participants will get a head start in planning for the future, help applying to college, practicing interviews, learning how to present your skill set to different audiences, discussing leadership and STEM communication, and Q&As with current college students. (June 10th – 14th) · Make It Move It – During this week-long summer program, you will learn about supply chain and logistics, explore how things are made, and how they are transported all over the world. Led by a combination of different business and industry representatives, the program will be taught through projects, industry tours, and games that are sure to be fun for everyone! (June 24th – 28th) · Energy Unplugged – Participants will learn about the future of energy, how solar panels and batteries can work together to provide energy even when the sun is not shining, obtain insights into electric vehicles and talk to researchers who are making electricity cleaner. (June 24th – 28th) · IOT & YOU – *2-week program This advanced program is designed for participants looking to take their knowledge of coding both to the next level and off the screen and into the real world. The Internet of Things (IoT) lets you connect, explore, control, and collect data on the world around you. *This program is for students with advanced knowledge of written coding language. (July 8th – 19th) · Drone Racing – During this week students will learn the coding language behind drone operation. Students will also master the controls for drone flight, learning stability, pitch, and yaw. The weeks ends as students compete against their classmates in drone obstacle racing. (July 22nd – 26th)

The Campus Recreation & Intramurals Department at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus hosts this Summer Camp.
Kids will participate in a variety of activities to include; basketball, wiffleball, kickball, soccer, tag games, water days and more! We also visit Skidaway Island Park and bring Oatland Island to us!
Camp hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Extended Care until 5 pm) and for ages 6 to 12.

Turtle Creek Camp will be at Advanced Academics Academy’s new campus at 605 US Hwy 80 in Pooler.
Camps are designed to center around a theme with activities alternating between high and low energy and led and free-choice throughout the day. Advanced Academics Academy teachers know that kids learn best through play and in a safe environment where they feel included.
Campers are divided into groups by age to ensure that play is safe and fair. Camp staff work with kids that need a little room of their own by offering a setting to be comfortable in and different activities if they are sensitive to noise or too much activity. No rude or harmful behavior is permitted.
Campers need a water bottle, two snacks and lunch daily. Please wear comfortable clothing that can get stained and shoes that protect your feet.
