Poison Prevention Tips from SouthCoast Health

As part of National Poison Prevention Week occurs every March, SouthCoast Health experts share tips here on how to be careful with potentially dangerous substances in your home. 

One tip: identify harmful products with “Mr. Yuk” stickers, (see above) created in 1971 by the Pittsburgh Poison Center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
