The sixth annual Warriors for William 5K and Kids Run in Richmond Hill “ran off” in 2018 as a complete success.

This event is one of the fundraisers for the Warriors for William foundation, established by SouthCoast Health pediatrician Dr. William Webb and his wife Danielle. The foundation raises money for childhood cancer research, a cause dear to the Webb Family’s heart. Their son William passed away shortly after his fourth birthday after battling Stage IV neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer.

You can read more of how this child’s heroic battle with cancer inspired his parents to fight the disease and help others here.
