Skirt! is a popular read at Harbour Town. The news rack there is already out of the September issue and it’s only Sept. 3. (Fortunately, I got the last one) Maybe it’s because this month focuses on the ever-popular topic, goddesses. Page 52 features a spotlight on “Smotherhood”, which looks like a fun collection of working mom essays by Amanda Lamb. Lamb is a mother of two, TV crime reporter in North Carolina and a contributing writer to one of my favorite sites, www.dot-moms.com. All that and a book. Anyone else feeling inadequate? Let’s hope one of her essays is a how-to guide on being Supermom.
