Concours d’Elegance Festival - for kids

car-show.jpg It’s a classic car festival. What could it possible have to offer children? Plenty.

The Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival next month at the Coastal Discovery Museum’s Honey Horn has hands-on fun and games kids activities planned for Saturday Nov. 3 and Sunday Nov. 4. Kids can design their own race car stickers and car license plates. They can also judge and vote for their favorite cars in the collectible auto competition and the car owners receive a kid’s award. There are even puzzles of car photos children can put together, then try to find the real car on exhibit at the festival.

That’s just a sampling of what this ritzy auto show has for kids. Find out more here. Children activities are supervised by volunteer high school leadership students through local Rotary Clubs as well as by adult volunteers. Proceeds from the festival benefit local Boys and Girls Clubs.
