A family-friendly event. Wee visitors to the children’s activities can try their hand at several pint-sized athletic activities including the sheaf toss, caber toss, haggis hurl, stone throw, welly toss and sack race. Want your kids to learn about history? Governor General of the Colony, James Oglethorpe, will be walking around the site during the Games. Stop him for a chat or a photograph.

These intelligent animals put on a show that’s fun for everyone.The Savannah Scottish Games are held among stately, moss-draped live oaks on the campus of Bethesda Home for Boys, overlooking the Moon River. Moon River was made immortal by Savannah native, Johnny Mercer, and Henry Mancini in their theme song for the movie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Children under age 10 are FREE with accompanying paid adult. Adult tickets: $10 in Advance or $12 at Gate. Students ages 11 to 17 are $5. Tickets for Military (with ID) are $10. The Entrance Fee is all-admission, including parking.
