I was really nervous before my son’s portrait session with Photographer Lori Grice. What if he cried? What if I didn’t have enough of his favorite toys to make him smile? What if he hugged the Easter bunny, provided by Lori, just a little too exuberantly? What if I looked like a complete idiot jumping around behind Lori, doing my best to slapstick a grin out of the poor boy?
As you can see from these sweet portraits, my son AND Lori Grice did a superb job. And the bunny survived.
Seriously, I am so thankful for these precious treasures taken in Forsyth Park as part of Lori Grice’s annual Strasburg Children portrait event. The popular spring event is designed to promote Strasburg’s new spring and Easter lines. Lori sold out two days worth of portrait sessions in the park.
Lori is a true pro. She was, after all, named Georgia Photographer of the Year in 2007. Add to her list of skills the ability to put neurotic moms like me at ease during portrait sessions.
You can’t beat Forsyth Park in full bloom spring as a backdrop. And the price was just as attractive, $199 included the session, one 8×10, 2 5×7’s and 8 wallets of your one favorite pose. Warning: you can – and most likely will – buy more.
If you did not make it on the list this year, be sure to sign up early for next year.
Of course, you don’t have to wait until next spring to set up a portrait session with Lori. You can reach Lori’s office at 1-800-704-LORI (5674).
