We are so sorry to report a favorite local kid spot, The Little Jumping Bean, has closed.
Some savvy SouthernMamas readers showed up at the Bean earlier this week only to find a sign reading “closed” due to current economic conditions. The sign also thanks customers for their patronage.
As you well know, parents fell in love with that place almost as much as the kids did after it opened earlier this year. The Little Jumping Bean was Savannah’s first indoor, inflatable playground catering to children 6 and under and a fun place to host children’s birthday parties.
A search of the Bean’s Web site no longer even lists the Savannah location as it did previously, only the Atlanta location.
UPDATE: An email SouthernMamas.com just received from firstname.lastname@example.org says the closing is permanent and everyone who has a birthday party scheduled will have their deposits refunded. The email reads: “We do apologize for the inconvenience to you but we look forward to maybe seeing you at our Atlanta location if you are visiting. Thanks, TLJB.”
